Fellowship is the practice of being united with someone else. As believers we have the indescribable privilege of being invited to fellowship with God. We are invited to be one with his purposes, with his love and compassion, in his presence, to share with him our joys and our pain.
We are also privileged to have fellowship with our Christian family. We are united to each other in a way that we cannot be with those who do not share this relationship with Christ. Our shared belief, which encompasses every aspect of our lives, becomes a common foundation.
Fellowship allows us to connect with each other, to share our victories, offer encouragement, and receive the blessing of being with people who genuinely care about us. The divine assurance of healing that we are promised begins for us in the sharing our grieving. God does not intend for us to be isolated or lonely, and his marvelous plan for our lives is peopled with other believers who lift us and are lifted by us through all of life’s challenges, triumphs, and losses. How precious are the relationships we have with our brothers and sisters, and how stunted we can become when we do not engage in the fellowship that God intends us to have with each other.
We meet often, both to worship, and just to enjoy each others' company. We invite you to join us at any of our Bible Studies, or at one of our regular social gatherings:
There are also numerous special get-togethers for picnics, barbecues, community events, and youth gatherings. Check our calendar for full listings, and please! Join us!
