The Board of Trustees is a group of nine church members who oversee and supervise many of the aspects of our church. They are responsible to make decisions in trust on behalf of the body for the management, maintenance and oversight of all church property and equipment.

Ad Council

Administrative Council

Chair: Nancy Davis

The church council provides for planning and implementing a program of nurturing, outreach, witnessing and resources in our church. Its function is to plan, implement, and evaluate the mission and ministry of our church. This very important group includes leaders within the church, as well as the chairs of our other committees. It oversees the daily functions of the church, ensuring that things go as smoothly as possible and that each committee has the needed supplies to fulfill their ministries.

Finance Committee

Our finance committee is charged with the stewardship of our financial resources. It is responsible for planning and implementing ways to generate more resources for mission and ministries of the local church, as well as our worldwide missions.

Hospitality Committee

Chair: Lisa Wilkins

This vital committee is staffed by volunteers who strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere within our church where fellowship occurs. They support the programs of the ministry and worship by making our fellowship hall a place where members, visitors, and prospective members feel welcome, providing meals and snacks during outreach, and keeping the communal areas of our church in good order. Their ministry requires a great deal forethought and planning, as well as willing hands and hearts to serve.

Staff Parish Relations Committee

The Staff Parish Relations Committee (also known as the SPRC) is like our church’s HR department. They manage all issues or functions related to paid staff. They would handle any parishioner complaints or issues as well.

Mission and Outreach Committee

Co-Chairs: Michele Landtau & Clarissa Piper

This committee helps to organize and support a broad variety of missions and outreach, both local and global ministries. It is the sponsoring / supporting committee that oversees our clothing and food outreach for the underprivileged, participates with our Skylands Outreach by coordinating donations of specific items for use in national mission efforts, and also supports our mission trips to Red Bird. In short, they have a LOT to take care of.
